artist statement

"As an interdisciplinary artist and educator, I navigate the intersection of emerging technologies and artistic expression. My dual identity as a conceptual thinker and digital creator fuels my artistic exploration, which delves into the overlapping realities that define our time. I dissect contemporary phenomena, such as digital dysmorphia and multiple identities, unearthing their complexities through experimentation with diverse digital tools and platforms. These explorations are not solely confined to the virtual; I remain deeply attuned to the intelligence and beauty of nature, its fragility a stark reminder of the Anthropocene epoch in which we live. This duality shapes my artistic vision. I strive to forge new aesthetics that resonate with the intricate paths of our lives, where the physical and digital increasingly coexist and collide.

By blurring boundaries and challenging perceptions, my work aims to evoke a sense of wonder amidst the complexities of our interwoven realities, inviting viewers to contemplate the world we inhabit and the digital threads that bind us. Leveraging my background in architecture and new media design, I employ a hybrid approach that fuses traditional and digital techniques to explore different modes of perception. My installations and artworks act as prisms, reflecting on visual simulation, conceptual speculation, and the ubiquity of simulacra. They invite viewers to question what's real, to contemplate the world we inhabit and the digital threads that bind us.

My journey is one of artistic inquiry and intellectual pursuit, bridging the gap between the virtual and the real. I work within this liminal space, exploring the potential of the real as both material and concept, seeking out moments where perception bends, expands, or reveals."

''Art is for me a transitive reflection of reality that oscillates in-between illusion and the multidimensional relevance of perception. I'm working on the potential of the real.'''
